Join us for worship services on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, as well as Bible studies and prayer meetings throughout the week.

A Prayer Tent is an excellent way for your church or ministry to serve and reach your community. Here are some resources and ideas to help you get your Prayer Tent Ministry started.

Preparation:
- Make announcements at church to find volunteers interested in this ministry.
- Have a meeting, get to know each other, and cast the vision for a prayer tent church or ministry.
- Get together and pray for outreach prayer events

Stay up-to-date on our upcoming events, such as holiday celebrations, community outreach initiatives, and special guest speakers.

Support our church's mission and ministry by giving a financial gift or donating your time and talents to one of our service projects.

 IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO GET PERMISSION FROM THOSE IN AUTHORITY BEFORE PUTTING UP A PRAYER TENT.

It is a good idea to offer something with your ministry or church contact information for follow-up or next steps so your visitors don't fall through the cracks.

Staffing Your Prayer Tent

• Two to three people max manning the tents- what we have found is people shy away if there are too many people in the tent.
• One prayer volunteer interacts with the person stopping by. The other volunteer stands back and prays quietly for them and is ready to pray for another person stopping for prayer.
• Keep track of those prayed for by logging it down. Name and what the prayer request was. If they want to give you their number, log it also.
• Recommend 2-hour shifts per volunteer if possible.
• Recommend having a male and female at the tent if possible ( it’s all based off of who is available).

Evangelism

• We have found that about 40% to 50% of those stopping by are not believers. Pray for them first, then go to the next point.
• The door is wide open to tell them about Jesus. Be ready to give them scripture and the salvation message. Simply tell them what Jesus has done for you and ask them if they want to accept Christ in their life.
• God will give you the words to say!
